How we sort listings

On Puppies, Kennels and Stud dogs, some listings are Featured. Featured listings are paid.

Your filters always come first

Featured placement never adds a listing that does not match your filters, and never hides one that does. It only changes the order of the results you asked for.

The order

  1. Founding kennels (the first 50 kennels to join Kennel Pro).
  2. Kennel Pro members for 2 years or more.
  3. Kennel Pro members for 1 year or more.
  4. New Kennel Pro members.
  5. Litters with a Litter boost.
  6. Everyone else.

Within each group we use the sort you chose, such as newest first or ready soonest. Each day the order inside a Featured group moves round, so no one is always at the top.

Membership length counts from when Kennel Pro started. If a kennel cancels, it starts again as a new member when it comes back.

How to spot paid placement

Every paid listing shows the label Featured on a light jute background.
